Deadline for submission of pre-proposal 1 March

JPI Oceans has launched a call of 6,8 million euro to advance scientific knowledge and support policy-making in the realm of deep-sea mining, addressing crucial ecological, ethical, and societal implications. Norway participates with 520,000 euro in this call. 

The Research Council of Norway supports applications to the following themes in the JPI Oceans Call on Ecological Aspects of Deep-Sea Mining 2023: Ecosystem dynamics, Ecological impacts of massive sulphide mining and Science-based support to governance. 
 
Please note: The pre-proposals are mandatory.
