Norway on the top in Europe in research funding from the EU

Norwegian research and innovation institutions continue to bring in large sums from the EU's research and innovation program, Horizon Europe. We now know who will be part of the Research Council's portfolio boards from 1 January 2024. The 115 members represent a wide range of academic and strategic expertise, institutions, sectors and experience from all parts of the research and innovation system.

We now know who will be part of the Research Council's portfolio boards from 1 January 2024. The 115 members represent a wide range of academic and strategic expertise, institutions, sectors and experience from all parts of the research and innovation system.

Important changes in the Research Council's application processing

The Ministry of Education has asked us to reduce the number of applications and to introduce measures that limit the use of resources by applicants and the Research Council. The target is a 25 per cent success rate. We are now introducing two main measures for FRIPRO.
